The Silence

"Starting this new year, I am looking at getting involved with challenges." the first line typed on Wednesday, 4th February 2026. The goal then was simple, to get involved in challenges and I started with 8WeekSQLChallenge. Day in, day out I shared solutions to questions posed for different datasets or a different section of the same dataset.

I have a total of 23 posts published on this blog: the first five were published between 5th February 2021 and July 19, 2024. Which means 18 posts; more than 3x was published in about a month. The first post on the challenge was up on 1st February 2026 and the most recent was on 1st March 2026.

Since then, it has been dead silence, and this is not because I do not have solutions to share. On the contrary, I have much more to share. This time by not answering questions as a student raising their hands in the classroom when a teacher has asked. But as an adult who has a story to share.

What story is hidden in the data? How do I express the details to stakeholders (technical and non-technical)? This is now my focus.

So, my sincerest apologies if you always looked forward to my solutions and by receiving this notification that I have published a post, your assumption was a solution to the challenge.
